The success of the shoes finally put West on the map in the fashion industry. For years, his designs were met with ridicule. A lot of fashion gatekeepers tried to hold Kanye back by calling him a clothing maker or saying that he wasn’t a real designer.
Kanye West was really sort of passionate and desperate and really actually thoughtful. He didn’t want to just be sort of a celebrity fashion designer. To break into the fashion industry.
Kanye With Fendi
Kanye West interned at Fendi in 2009, where he was paid about $500 a month. In 2015, West even said he went $16 million in debt trying to get a clothing line off the ground. But no matter what he did, he still couldn’t quite knock down those doors. And so he took an alternative route through the sneaker world.
West says he was a sneaker head as a kid, even though he didn’t have the money to buy the shoes he loved. “When I was in fourth grade, I was drawing Jordan’s when my mama couldn’t afford them. I was drawing those Jordan’s, getting kicked out of class for drawing them”.
West got his start as a producer on Jay-Z’s 2001 album, The Blueprint. He hit it big as a hip hop artist after releasing his own album, The College Dropout, in 2004.
Then West set his sights on another passion of his fashion. He even told a New York Fashion Week crow in 2016 that his dream is to be the creative director of Hermes. While West had a difficult time getting people to buy into his clothing designs, his shoes instantly clicked with fans.
In Yeezy’s first eight years or so, hype around the shoe was at its strongest. Yeezy started as a partnership with Nike in 2009 before West switched to working with Adidas in 2013. During the Nike years and in the first few years of his partnership with Adidas, customers went to great lengths to get their hands on a pair. Any website you go to, Yeezy would probably sell out in like five seconds.
My Personal Review
So, here I am going to give you my personal experience on one of the hyped kicks in the sneaker industry. The Yeezy 700 v3 alvah which is basically the second colorway of Yeezy 700 v3 “azael” known as the “Masterpiece” because of its unique design.
The brain behind Yeezy 700 v3 alvah is Ye (Kanye West). The religious affair between Kanye and his work is still going well. Because “Alvah” is a Hebrew language word, which means exalted “one” which definitely Kanye is. Other than that, in bible the word “Alvah” is used for a place.
The Yeezy 700 v3 alvah was released in November 15, 2020 at a retail price of 200$. But everyone knows that, getting Yeezy at retail price is like hitting a lottery. Because the sneaker mafia gets most of the stock and then resale it at double or triple prices, even sometimes more than that. Do you know what makes “Alvah” so legendary? It’s elegant black color and definitely the shape.
Yeezy 700 Design
The design of these fashion sneakers are quite different from the traditional one. It’s just like the Rolls Royce of sneakers. Because back in 2020, when the pandemic was at its peak Nike, and Jordan, pushed back their releases due to different issues, or you may say commitments.
700 V3 Material
When we see it’s material, its very lightweight and comfortable.
So, let’s start with the toe cap, we got the thin rubber accent, which is glued properly and strongly to the rest of the upper sole, and It is actually the rubber which Adidas used in the toe cap.
However, its fairly different from the suede which they usually used in the previous 700s.
On the upper sole of the shoe, you will get this neoprene tongue. And one interesting thing is that the 3m accents are hidden underneath the sides of the shoes.
I always wonder why these accents are hidden underneath the sides. and that’s because you can see them only when you are looking down at the shoes.
You can’t see them from the side of the shoes. Moreover, these accents cannot be used for safety purposes, May be these details are only for self pleasure.

Fit
The laces system of these kicks are black. Which are weaved through eyelets that are not much visible because it’s covered by the side panel of the shoe.
Moreover, the boost cushioning in the midsole is excluded from this shoe. But don’t you worry, it’s sole is very comfortable and fits your shoe size.
